Since our engagement last month, I have been forming a collection of differing white milk glass containers to use as table centerpieces for the wedding reception.
Mixing and matching compotes and vases for a vintage and eclectic look.
Mostly English hobnail pattern, some ruffled and some footed. Sharing a common thread but as individual as they can be.

Oh,dashing off to mail you an envelope and then to my favorite thrift shop, will see if they have any vessels to add to your vase collection for your bridal bouquets.
GREAT flowers! Thank you again for showing off my painting!
ENJOY your weekend!

Milk glass...wonderful choice!
I was reading comments on Code de Texas and saw "London Calling". As a Texan who spent almost 10 years in the London surrounds over two transfers, I am intrigued. Did you live overseas too? I am also a lover of almost all things British, still getting my "sippin' tea" from Fortnum & Masons (Royal Blend...or bust...), my kitchen in my west Houston home was styled after a particular Clive Christian kitchen I lusted after in their shop in Weybridge, Surrey when we lived in Walton-on-Thames, my house if full of antiques I found at fayres, auctions, even the UK eBay. I call myself an "Edwardian Girl" as that is the style of furniture that I tend to gravitate towards. So it's nice to find a fellow Texan (I'm assuming you're Texan - or are you British??) so nearby in the same state, let alone country. I think our builder thought I was nuts when I asked for a wooden floor that looked aged, with knots and distressing - not all shiny and new looking. I wanted it to look like it had been there for decades if not centuries and had been LIVED ON.
We should talk...
Wish I lived closer, I'd loan mine to you! This will be fabulous!
These are beautiful. It will be a lovely collection. You've inspired me.
I love milk glass. Some of my favorite photos I've taken are the ones featured in milk glass vases!
This isn't milk glass at all. These are all works of pottery handmade by Frances Palmer.... Just an FYI...
